The "M1" armored vest is designed for body guards and other individuals. The vest consists of "Twaron" ballistic fabric, and is meant for hidden wear. It comes in three sizes.
This vest is rated at class 1 protection according to the GOST R 50744-95RF standard, or at class II according to the NIJ 0101.04 standard.
- There are 35 square inches of protection, and the vest weighs only 1.3 kg.
- The color of the outer layer can be made to order.
- Polymer panels may be added for class 2 protection, weighing 1.7 kg.
